All these fields and settings are documented in the TeleMatrix manual. This document only covers those changes which are not default.

The default username and password are both admin.

Configuration of the phone is performed from the VOIP menu.

  • SIP Line Select
    Choose SIP 1. Phones do not support multiple extension number and the SIP line selection is only for configuration of a backup PBX.
  • Server Address
    Enter the IP address of the SIP Registrar, typically the PBX.
  • Account Name
    Enter the account name, typically the extension number but may be a name.
  • Password
    Enter the password defined for the account.
  • Phone Number
    Enter the extension number for this phone.
  • Enable Register
    Check this box.
  • Domain Realm
    Typically not needed as the phones will automatically use the Realm the PBX responds with when they login.
  • Message Waiting Indication
    Choose Enable(Subscribe).

Configuration for the MWI button on the phone is via Advanced | Memory Key menu. This is also where you may program any of the memory keys on the phone based on the label the hotel has created. Typically these will be items like room service and the like.

  • MWI Number
    Enter the huntgroup number of the DuVoice.

You can set the display on the phone so that it will show the hotel name or anything you like from System Manage | MMI Set.

  • Greeting Message
    Enter the hotel name or room.
  • IP Address
    From any phone if you enter **47# the phone will display the IP Address and speak it out loud.
