Panasonic

The Panasonic CTI card can only support a single connection to a single machine at a time. The Panasonic TAPI driver will fail to connect usually because a machine is running the Panasonic configuration software and connecting to the switch via the CTI card. Even if the same machine running the TAPI driver is the one connected to the server, TAPI will never connect. In order for the TAPI driver to re-establish the connection the configuration software must be closed and the machine rebooted.

When using Panasonic TAPI integration the system must be delayed during startup according to Panasonic. This is due to the way the PBX and the TAPI driver communicate. DuVoice recommends that the system be configured to not startup for a minimum of 10 minutes. This change can be performed at anytime and must be configured manually.

This is only support for versions 6.00 and above.

  1. Edit the startup.ini file typically located in c:\vs\database.
  2. Under the SYSTEM section set the.
  3. Set DelayStartup to equal 10. If this entry doesn't exist it can be added, example DelayStartup=10.
  4. Save file.
